The Warriors Shield – Defined

The outer shield is split into three sections: The top of the shield above the crown represents – the battlefield of the mind where most battles are fought, won or lost.  This is the place where we cannot hide from ourselves. The two side sections represents the world in which we live – it is split into two sections one for good people and things in life and the other for chaos which seeks to conquer all

The inner shield represents the warrior – who is placed between the two warring factions and he stands on God’s word and power to defend the week and destroy evil.

The Crown of Glory stands for God who is our King – The placement of which is at the top of the shield signifying that this is where God is in our lives, above all things.

The crossed arrows stand for readiness for battle – The placement between the Crown of Glory and the dove of peace signifies that sometimes peace can only be achieved through war.

The Dove of Peace symbolizes the Holy Spirit – Placement above the primary circle is to remind us that as the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus after his baptism in the waters of the Jordan, that we two have been baptized in the Spirit.

The six swords stand for one of each of the pieces of Gods armor – The placement of the swords on either side of the dove represents that we must be willing to fight for one another and God has provided us the weapons needed to do so.

The primary circle stands for the circle of life–– This is at the center of the shield because it holds the piece through the sacrifice of Jesus and the relationship we now have with the trinity and the unity among our brothers in Christ who are led by the Spirit.

PAX stands for Christ Jesus who is the source, reconciliation and the peace – Jesus is at the center of life for without his sacrifice we would not be able to have eternal life and a relationship with God who is our father.

The triquetra symbolizes the Trinity – this is located on the right side of the PAX with the three points representing Father, Son and Holy Spirit while the continuous interwoven line represents unity.

The joined rings stand for brotherhood – this is located on the left side of the PAX representing a rope made of many strands will not be broken.

The wheel of Hope – this is located at the bottom of the shield and it contains all that we want or hope to be.  Our Core Values that exemplify a character of excellence; they are who you already are and who you become during this incredible journey with our Father in heaven.  These values are:

  • Faith          – firm belief in something for which there is no proof; complete trust.
  • Service      – contribution to the welfare of others; a helpful act
  • Unity          – continuity without deviation or change of purpose or action; the quality or state of being made one
  • Courage    – mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear or difficulty
  • Honor        – character, a good name, reputation; one’s word given as a guarantee of performance; moral excellence and fairness
  • Vision        – a dream, strongly desired goal or purpose
  • Duty          – binding of tasks, conduct, service, or functions that arise from one’s position in life; the force of moral obligation
  • Freedom   – absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action; liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of

                           another; independence

The hub located in the center of the wheel is to remind us that when we act in unison we are of one mind, one heart and one Spirit.  This is the source of our reason to not accept failure

The wheel is always moving forward and affords one the agility to spin about in defense or offensive maneuvers.  It contains 8 spokes each stand for one of our core beliefs upon which we will stand and not be shaken.  The hub represents the weak; those for whom we are commissioned to stand for, to protect and defend, the spokes connect them to the living word of God.

The point of contact between the wheel and the circle represents the turning of our lives, the point in which once and for all times we have been saved through the blood of Christ.  For without being connected to the primary circle of life we cannot be, or truly succeed at that which we hope to achieve.

There is a battle forming that is encompassing the world; one that is being fought on the physical, temporal and spiritual planes of existence.  This battle is between good and evil in which no one will get out alive, yet, in the middle stands the warrior.  It is he who through wisdom, faith, and knowledge of the word of God, puts his life on the line for the children of God who are lost, mislead, or alone.
