Salvation Prayer

SALVATION PRAYER

If you want to begin a relationship with God through Jesus Christ right now, you can – by talking to Him through prayer.  So as you read this pray this prayer do so out loud if possible and do so with a repentant heart.

“Heavenly Father, I confess that I am a sinner, and I believe that Jesus died to pay for my sins and then rose from the dead for me.  I accept you into my life.  I turn from my way of doing things, to your way, and give you control of my life.  Thank you for saving me and giving me new life in you. Amen.”

Now God has forgiven you and made you His child and has come into your heart and life-your are a new person in Him, you are a babe in His arms.  As a child you now need to get guidance and the best way is to find a bible based church and become a participant if you are unsure as to how to find one do a search online for bible based church’s and do some research.  Get a bible and start to read it, my recommendation is to start by reading the book of John and then go to the beginning of the New Testament and read Matthew, Mark, Luke and re-read John and continue through to Revelations.

You can also go to the Christian Resources/Christian books to my link under one stop bible shop and purchase one there.  Also go to Christian Resources/Christian links and open the link to Eagle Brook Church and in there is a fount of information and you can watch the worship service on line and find many other resources through this site.

The key is to start to pray daily (I like to get up in the morning and thank God for the day and ask for His guidance).  Read your bible daily and if you like there is a year long study guide in the Eagle Brook Church website.  Also share Christ with others by living a life that shows you want to be a follower of Christ by changing your attitude and how you look at things and do things – you will also find books referenced in Christian Resources/Personal growth that will help you in these areas.

Finally welcome to the family of God and may He bless, guide and watch over you in all that you do, may He also encourage, strengthen and empower you to be the best you that you can be.  In Jesus name I pray.
